Gary Brookes was one of life's great achievers.  After working for some years in the timber and road transport industries Gary and his wife Jill started their own company, "Brookes Transport" in 1977 with just one truck. This company was destined to become one of the largest family owned transport groups in WA before being sold in 2008.

We have added to the Park since this aerial view was taken and now have over 6,500sq/m of buildings.

Gary was always interested in old machinery. Starting with a TD35 some years ago the collecting bug took hold and like all good collectors, one tractor led to another and soon there was a range of International tractors from TD35 through to TD9 and up to the giant TD24. Also included were wheel tractors from F12 right through the range to 686. A large shed was relocated from Bunbury and re-erected on their farm at Dardanup. By this time Gary was well on his way with his dream of having a heritage park for industrial and agricultural machinery. With the support of his family, he was able to achieve this. Through his great vision and tireless work he has left a wonderful legacy for us and future generations to enjoy.
